For one reason or another you may require a service whereby you want only the inserts printing for your wedding invitation cards.
In this article, we will take you through the various options that you have available with CardFusion.
Q) I have a design ready to print for my wedding invitation inserts, can CardFusion print them for me?
We can certainly help with the print of inserts only. We have a number of options available. The pricing depends on four primary factors:
- Would you like the inserts to be printed on White card or pearlised Card?
Pearlised card is usually a more expensive option then the White card. The pearlised card is usually the more preferred option by our customers, simply because of the shimmer it gives. We offer the pearlised effect card in both pearl White and pearl Cream as standard. The font colours and colours of the images / symbols used can be changed for each insert. The pearlised card is usually around 260gsm in weight and the White card is around 350gsm. - What is the size of the inserts that you require printing?
We recommend that the inserts for your invitation cards are around 5mm smaller from each side (top, bottom, left and right) than the actual outer cover (if you have an outer cover). - Would you like the inserts to be printed digitally, foiled or both?
We offer a range of different services when it comes to printing both inserts and the actual wedding cards. To print the inserts digitally, you may have a design that has been created that will be printed in colour. The next option you have is to have the entire card foiled. The main differences between digital printing and foiling is that digital printing allows for the use of colour, similar to what you see on a photo, whereas foiling has a beautiful shine on it, which makes the card luxurious. The final option that we offer is to have both digital printing and foiling. This option is the most expensive out of the three. This can be used in a couple of different ways. The first is to have a border in a digital print and to have the rest of the text, design and symbols foiled. The alternative to this is to invert this, so to have a foiled border and the rest of the text, design and symbols digitally printed. - Would you like the inserts to be printed single sided or double sided?
The cost of printing double sided is more expensive, due to the extra printing required.
